The University of Worcester seeks a prominent professional to occupy the new position of Secretary of the University. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor, and working closely with the President and the Board of Governors as Secretary of the Board and Secretary of the Company of the University's subsidiaries, you will be responsible for ensuring that the University is governed in accordance with the highest standards of probity and transparency. It will take the initiative in legal, regulatory and legal matters, and corporate assurance and compliance.

You will be a senior leader who feels comfortable providing insightful advice on a variety of critical issues and leading a provision of high-caliber services. He will have a deep knowledge and understanding of government, compliance and regulation, and will be able to participate immediately with the new regulatory context for higher education. It will be highly organized, flexible and pragmatic; an excellent communicator; and with a genuine will to expand their knowledge and influence. The qualifications of secretary of the company or equivalent, and legal experience are desirable.
