CHICAGO (CBS) : companies around The world has classified the universities of the United States according to the employability of its graduates in a new report: the Global Employability Ranking of the 2018 University.
The ranking, published by Times Higher Education, includes 56 universities in the US. UU Recruiters in major companies think they are the best at preparing students for the workplace.
Among the universities in the Chicago area that made the list is the University of Chicago, which is ranked No. 14.
Several Big 10 schools also made the list, including Northwestern, which ranked 27th, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign at number 35.
The University of Notre Dame came in at No. 46
Another 10 major schools on the list were Ohio State University, Purdue University, the University of Michigan, the State of Michigan, Penn State and the University of Michigan. Wisconsin-Madison.
Harvard ranked first, followed by the California Institute of Technology and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
