CHILLICOTHE: Unioto Sherman stated that he will continue his athletic career at university level.
The Nehemiah Felts of Sherman formally declared their intention to play college-level football for Otterbein University in Columbus on Friday. Otterbein is a school of the NCAA Division III.
"I feel blessed for this opportunity," said Felts. "I can play four more years of the game I love, thanks to my coaches and teammates who helped me improve during my high school career … I also want to thank my parents for pushing me into school and my sports."
Felts played as an open and defensive wide receiver for the Shermans last season, as he went 7-4 and won a trip to the playoffs. They finally fell in their first playoff game to Bloom Carroll 38-7.
