Utah Valley University will partner with Silicon Slopes to offer MBA technology management

SALT LAKE CITY: starting this fall, Utah Valley University will partner with Silicon Slopes to offer a master's degree in technology management at business administration at the headquarters of the non-profit organization in Lehi.

Utah Valley University President Astrid S. Tuminez, who addressed the Subcommittee on Higher Education Appropriations of the Utah Legislature on Wednesday morning, described the association.

Tuminez announced the association earlier this month, during the Silicon Slopes Technology Summit.

Silicon Slopes executives will speak with MBA students throughout the semester, providing relevant instruction for those seeking executive positions in the leading technology companies in Utah Silicon Slopes is a nonprofit organization that enables the Utah technology and startup community to learn, connect and provide services, according to its website.

The UVU MBA is offered as a full-time accelerated program or a part-time program to meet the different needs of students.

The Silicon Slopes campus will serve as the third campus of the MBA program. Full-time and part-time programs are offered at the UVU Orem campus, and part-time programs are available at Thanksgiving Point.
