The University of Augusta offers a break from tuition for SC students

Augusta, GA (WJBF) – South Carolina students may soon be paying less to go to Augsuta University. The school has announced a change in enrollment. Palmetto state students may request tuition fees within the state. Here is the announcement of UA:

Augusta University will begin offering state tuition for residents of South Carolina this fall as part of its growing commitment to expand educational opportunities and access for the region.

The South Carolina Scholarship will be available to qualified residents of South Carolina and will cover out-of-state tuition costs, which are estimated to be around $ 15,000 per year or $ 60,000 over four years. State tuition at the University of Augusta is currently estimated at $ 17,814 per year and includes fees, lodging and meals plans.
