Sisi issues a decree to establish Sphinx University in New Assiut

CAIRO, Jan 20 (MENA) – President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi issued a decree to establish an Egyptian private university with its own legal personality.

"Sphinx", a non-profit university, must be established in the city of New Assiut in accordance with the presidential decree.

The university must provide full scholarships for the 10 percent of students who will enroll annually.

The decree was published in the official newspaper on Sunday.
