Dallas, Texas, September 18, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Parker University has been recognized as one of 79 colleges and universities considered a great university to work for ® . Based on the results of the employee engagement survey, the Great Colleges to Work For ® program identified the Parker University workplace as one that has excelled in three different categories, including Compensation and Benefits, Respect and Appreciation, and Relationship between Supervisor and Head of Department.
The Great Colleges to Work For® program is one of the largest and most respected workplace recognition programs in the country. In its thirteenth year, it recognizes colleges that earn the best ratings from employees regarding workplace policies and practices. Recognition results from submitted positive baseline data (in the case of benefits and compensation) and surveys completed by randomly selected faculty and staff. The survey results are based on a two-part evaluation process: an institution questionnaire that captures the employment data and workplace policies of each institution, and a survey administered to faculty, administrators, and staff at professional support. The main factor in deciding whether an institution received recognition was employee feedback.
Richard K. Boyer, ModernThink Senior Consultant, says: “Institutions participating in the Great Colleges to Work For® 2020 program deserve special recognition for their commitment to being good stewards of corporate culture and quality of the workplace. In the face of unprecedented uncertainty, his commitment to involving faculty and staff never wavered. In particular, the institutions recognized in this year's program as 'Great Colleges to Work For' demonstrate that it is possible to be a great workplace even in the face of disruption, uncertainty, and limited resources. ”
