Event of the University of Colorado at Denver to show the work of the Boulder campus

Chancellor of the University of Colorado Phil DiStefano, the trainer of Mel Tucker football and other prominent personalities of the university will speak on Thursday at an event called CU Boulder Next in Denver.

The event is part of a four-year tour to showcase the university's research and other efforts, and will feature "BuffTalks" and exhibits. Other speakers include Nobel Laureate Tom Cech and Serene Singh, who last year became the first woman in CU to receive the Rhodes Scholarship.

The stops for last year's tour included Washington, DC and Los Angeles, and this year's stops include Denver and San Francisco.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, 1550 Court Place, and tickets cost $ 25 per person. Tickets include food pairings and beer and wine made by UC alumni.
