CSU students representing the university in the Georgia Legislature

According to the Georgia Legislative Internship Program, "once the students are selected for the internship, they are assigned to offices in the House of Representatives of Georgia or the Senate of the State of Georgia. Each intern will have a unique purpose in the process and will have a multitude of different tasks to perform each day that may include legislative follow-up, constituent services, media assistance, attendance at committee meetings, drafting of bill summaries and much more. During their stay at the State Capitol, interns will gain knowledge of how state government works, how the legislative process works, and making contacts and lifelong friendships. "
