Castleton University receives approval for an additional location at Killington Resort

Killington School of Resort & Hospitality Management is ready for release in the fall.

The university will offer an accelerated degree in hotel management of resorts under a cooperative education model as of this fall.

In the three-year resort management program, students attend classes as traditional students and also receive credit for working in paid positions in the Killington and Pico mountains. Green Mountain College previously ran a similar program in Killington and saw a completion rate of more than 90 percent and an employment rate of 99 percent.
