Call 911 leads to the evacuation of apartments near Temple University, but no threat was found

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) –

Police responded to an apartment building close to Temple University on Monday night after a 911 call.

According to the authorities, the caller reported an armed threat inside the building at around 7:30 pm

The officers evacuated the building and searched the area.

No threat was found.

Apartment residents were allowed to re-enter the building.
